I love dressing up for a party. Parties give me the opportunity to have fun with my clothes and put together outfits that I do not normally wear in my everyday life. But it is 2020 so getting the chance to dress up for a party hasn’t happened in a very long time. This is why I wanted to put together 12 Holiday outfits so that I got the chance to wear my party clothes and show that even when you are staying home it is possible to dress up a bit. The bonus of celebrating the holidays at home is that there are lots of ways to get dressed comfortably, and stylishly, this season.
Nothing says holidays quite like tartan. These pants are incredibly comfortable and stretchy. Which is what you want when indulging in the wonderful food of the holiday season. The sweater is from Naadam and their cashmere is the best. Plus, at $75 it is the best priced cashmere I have ever found. Finally, the shoes provide the perfect pop of red to honor the holiday season.
A black sequin jacket and some silk pants is the ultimate ensemble for party comfort. Add gold jewelry and velvet smoking slippers and you have an outfit you will wear long after the party is over.
Even if you are staying home it doesn’t mean you cannot have fun with your holiday clothing. A red dress, some sensible heels and a pair of sunglasses. Trust me; try it. You will feel fantastic. Turn on some music and dance. Staying at home means no one is watching and you can act as crazy as you might feel at this point in the year.
There is nothing easier to throw on than a black jumpsuit, your favorite jewelry and simple black heels. This jumpsuit is a satin material which makes it incredibly comfortable for wearing around the house.
This is such a simple, and comfortable option for holiday festivities at home. My favorite pair of stretch black jeans, a loose tartan top and some pearls to add a bit of shine to the look. Also, I cannot emphasis enough how amazing Birdies shoes are. These have shearling inside and truly feel like slippers.
I love silk coordinating sets. Here is why; you can wear it at home or out to dinner and you look wonderfully pulled together. Plus, you can wear the set separately with a nice sweater or pair the top with jeans and you still look effortlessly put together.
I LOVE the look of a well tailored tuxedo. I have worn this jacket with a pair of dark jeans and it works really well. The red silk camisole adds a pop of color and is a perfect piece for the holiday season.
Combining a sequin jacket with a silk camisole and silk pants makes for an incredibly comfortable, and fun outfit for holiday festivities. These silk pants from Heidi Merrick are so comfortable and are a nice change from day-to-day loungewear.
A deep blue velvet suit and gold is the perfect combination of jewel tones to feel fancy and festive.
A red silk dress and boots might not be the most conventional holiday outfit for staying home, but it is fun and that is what we desire at this point. Fun. These Miista boots are incredibly comfortable. And I say this as someone who up until recently refused to wear anything with a heel. The red silk dress from Datura is one my favorite pieces of clothing I own. I feel very luxurious when I wear it.
There is nothing better than silk pajamas you can luxuriously hang out in all day. I adore the brand Asceno and this is a look that easily go from your house to out to dinner.
