My Home Essentials

I realized when putting together this piece that my essentials fall into three categories; home scents, food/drink and organization. I do think that if my house is organized, it smells good, and I have a good meal or drink in front of me then I am at peace. Which makes total sense since our homes have become our everything at this point. If one thing doesn’t seem right I fix it because there are no vacations or going out to distract me.

My Essential Home Items

Antica Farmacista Room Spray

Antica Farmacista Lemon Room Spray
This scent transports me to a coastal vacation where I drink rose at noon.

Santa Barbara Apothecary Candle

Santa Barbara Apothecary Montecito Candle
The name of this candle is quite funny, but the scent is incredible. The scent fills the room and lingers long after you have snuffed it out.

Pottery Barn Blanket

Pottery Barn Faux Fur Blanket
This blanket is my best friend during the winter months.

Waldorf Astoria Cocktail Book

Waldorf Astoria Cocktail book
This book goes into the stories of the cocktails historically made at the hotel. I love learning about how cocktail recipes came to be and who invented them.

Crate and Barrel Marble Tray

Crate and Barrel Marble Kitchen Tray
The price of this tray is very reasonable ($39.95). I love how it makes small decor items in my house look more organized when I place them on the tray.

Container Store Linen Boxes

Container Store neutral linen boxes
The trick to hiding loose papers, pens, and cords? These boxes.

Cookbook

Jerusalem Cookbook
All the cookbooks from Ottolenghi are fantastic. There are so many recipes in this book that easy, quick and delicious.

Moccamaster Coffee Maker

Moccamaster coffee maker
I truly feel the coffee from this machine tastes like pour over coffee. It is by far the best coffee maker I have ever purchased.
