Notable New

When I find a specific piece that makes me stop and stare in awe that is when I know I found a winner. It rarely happens at this point as I feel there are a lot of copy cat brands and designs out there at the moment. I also feel with proliferation of sub stacks where every person is wearing the same brands and the same pieces I feel a bit disenchanted. Does originality exist anymore? Which is why I purposely seek out pieces that feel like they are saying something new and different. Plus, adding a piece to my closet that elevates my look by just adding that perfect one thing is the dream.

Attersee is one of my top brands for really special pieces that will stand the test of time. This dress has an elevated vibe, it’s bra friendly and a wool/silk combination. Imagine stacking a few dainty gold necklaces with the v-neckline? Heaven.
Rohe is an Amsterdam based brand that specializes in contemporary pieces with a twist. I want to wear this skirt with a grey cashmere drop shoulder sweater and some black flats. A coffee run outfit with a vibe.
Manu Atelier is a Turkish brand started by sisters whose family owns one of the oldest leather manufacturers in Istanbul. The Margaux bag is on the arm of every influencer out there. And while it’s gorgeous, it’s insanely expensive. This bag from Manu Atelier has a similar vibe and you support a small family-owned business. Win win.
I recently discovered Veronique Leroy and oh my goodness I want everything. It was this chocolate poplin skirt (with pockets!) that really made me drool. I’d wear the skirt with white converse, an ivory t-shirt, and oversized tortoise shell sunglasses.
These shoes from Martiniarno are handmade in Buenos Aires and have a glove like fit. The cherry red color is versatile and has a very of-the-moment look. I love finding something that feels current, but is made incredibly well and will last forever.
Okay, hear me out on this one. A grey sweatshirt is not groundbreaking. But…..the ready-to-wear collection from Jaime Haller is really good. This sweatshirt with bracelet length cuffs would look great with skirt, jeans, silk pants. It is very slightly cropped so you will not look frumpy when you want to elevate the sweatshirt. Throw on a pearl necklace and you are ready for anything and everything.
