Friday Five: Fall Dress
I have always struggled to find a great dress for the Fall. As the temperature cools down I struggle to find a dress I can pair with boots, scarf, coat, ect…All the necessary cold weather essentials. And frankly finding a dress that still looks good once it’s weighed down with these items is tough. When I saw this dress from Phillip Lim I knew it was the perfect dress for the change in seasons. I can easily see this dress paired with boots and a long forest green wool coat. I cannot get over how beautiful the toile-esque print is. The green piping is gorgeous and such a nice touch. Pairing the dress with the green Freda Salvador boots seems like an obvious choice but I am very into forest green at the moment so I couldn’t help myself.
Let’s talk accessories
I am not really a bag person but when I saw this great bag from Parissa Wang I was hooked. It is small enough to be comfortable to carry all day, but is very classic. The same goes with this gorgeous pearl ring from Anissa Kermiche. A classic piece of jewelry that has been updated a bit with the addition of gold beads. I do not go a day without wearing sunglasses and Machete is my new obsession. The tortoise shell pattern is timeless which is why I know these sunglasses would be a forever piece. The addition of these accessories to the dress make it a complete outfit that I could see myself wearing on repeat.
