I spent last weekend up in the mountains and I felt really inspired to create a dream outfit for a mountain retreat. An outfit that embraces the environment and is comfortable enough to spend the day exploring in it. Also, it can be so much fun to play dress up according to your location. So I knew I wanted a bit of a western theme with this edit.
Friday Five: A Mountain Retreat
I found this Vika 2.0 dress a few weeks ago and I knew that I wanted to find a scenario where I could wear this. The darker denim and structure of this dress is perfect for transitioning into a nice dinner out. You could also wear this dress unbuttoned and wear it over some denim shorts and a white tank.
The Agnes Baddoo Whiskey Suite collection of bags are absolutely gorgeous. They sell out incredibly fast and someday I will get my hands on one of these. I particularly like the cross body bag as it feels very versatile.
If you do not know the footwear brand Aeyde then now you know. I really love their classic designs and the materials they use. They make the most amazing heels as well.
These Coco and Breezy sunglasses are absolutely perfect! I like an aviator style, but with a more oversized fit. These sunglasses add a cool factor to the outfit.
Finally, DS and Durga make some of the best perfumes on the market. They even have playlists on Spotify that go along with each scent. The Bowmaker scent reminds me of a cabin with the fire going late at night. It is comforting and relaxing.
Each of these pieces are so versatile on their own, but together they make the ultimate mountain escape ensemble.
