Recently I have been really craving getting dressed up and having a nice night out. The kind of night where you really get ready. You put some music on and take in every moment of feeling a bit fancy prior to heading out. Side note; Sometimes getting ready is the best part of the evening, right? This week I wanted to put together my dream going out outfit. I had to start with this beyond gorgeous, and simple, black silk slip dress from There Was One. Pairing the dress with a simple pair of kitten heels from Jack Erwin felt right as it keeps the ensemble simple and classic.
While I was tempted to go with a luxe long black coat, I like the idea of a lighter coat that stands out against the black dress. Also, this Tove coat is absolutely gorgeous. The Hanna Fiedler bag is soooo pretty. I tend to gravitate towards more utilitarian style pieces but I love how this bag adds a softness to an outfit. Finally, a new jewelry discovery is White Space. This necklace is classic with a bit of twist by having the diamond embedded in the pearl. The look of this necklace against black silk is perfection.
Now, I just have to find a great place to go so I can have fun getting ready.
