Is there anything better than sitting in the sunshine and drinking wine while staring at vines? Also, the feeling of knowing you have no where to go and you can truly focus on the current moment. When I visit wine country I wear clothes that are comfortable and allow me to feel at ease. So, forget the heels, too short sundresses and unbreathable fabrics.
Friday Five: Summer Wine Tasting
Let’s start with this Tove top. This piece could be styled quite a few different ways throughout the year. I like the idea of using it to dress up a pair of denim shorts during the warmer months. It is the beautiful details that make this top unique. The ruching combined with the ties allow it to be statement item with out being fussy.
Closed is one my absolute favorite brands and these denim shorts are perfection. They are relaxed without being overly distressed and young looking. I am at a point in my life when I want shorts that can be dressed up with a nice top, or worn with t-shirt. And these shorts are the perfect solution to this need.
I discovered the brand Hereu a few months ago and I have been so impressed by the pieces they create. These sandals are a beautiful color of blue and add that bit color to any otherwise neutral outfit. The fisherman sandal style is huge right now and I am all about it. Plus, when walking around a vineyard the last thing you want is uncomfortable shoes.
I really love classic pieces of jewelry that have a unique twist to them. These earrings by Pichulik fit that description perfectly. They are handcrafted in Cape Town, South Africa of locally sourced materials.
Every good summer outfit needs a proper sunhat. I recently discovered the brand Bagtazo and each hat is so beautiful and unique. This hat has some structure to it which I really like. It has style to it and you can tell there is incredible craftsmanship.
This outfit is perfect for a beautiful summer day spent with friends. A day spent with no where to go and enjoying every second of where you are at that moment.
