The popularity of wide leg pants has been around for awhile. That being said; I have finally fallen in love with them and now that is all I want to wear. I used to think that wide leg pants are just for very tall people or those who wore heels everyday. You needed to have some height to pull off wide leg pants. The trick I have found is finding a pair of wide leg pants that drape to the floor with a nice flow. This look gives you height, versus overwhelms your body with fabric. Here are a few pairs I have found that are great no matter your height or desired shoes.

Tencel + Pleats= Perfection. These Mara Hoffman pants have been sitting in my cart for quite some time. Also, this brand is size inclusive which I adore.
Saks Potts
Saks Potts is another Copenhagen-based brand that I continue to fall more in love with. These menswear inspired black linen pants check all the boxes for me. Plus, the matching linen vest make it the perfect summer evening outfit.
Nili Lotan
Listen: These pants are expensive. I tried them on and goodness was I tempted to buy them. Nili Lotan uses the softest cotton and has perfected pleats. I recommend going down one or two sizes for the perfect fit.
Citizens of Humanity
The Amina trouser jean from Citizens of Humanity is the perfect wide leg denim in my opinion. They are slightly fitted on the upper leg and fall to the ground with a slight flare. I really like them in the darker wash.
Emi Mess
Emi Mess is a French brand that I recently found and have quickly fallen in love with. These pants are made from stunning black wool with pleats down the front to create length and flow.
Favorite items to wear with wide leg pants
I recently purchased these Hereu fisherman sandals and they are very good. Pair them with the Nili lotan white wide leg for a great color contrast.I find a bodysuit balances out the wider leg look. This one from Another Tomorrow is incredibly comfortable.This sweater from Fillipa K. is perfect with wide leg pants because of the gauzy style. It is important to balance out more fabric on the bottom with a lighter look up top.
