Sustainable Cashmere

A major point of my blog, and my personal style, is about investing in items that you will wear forever. Pieces that are made with a level of quality that allows them to last. Along with focusing on items which possess longevity through their design and craftsmanship, I am trying to educate myself on brands that produce their clothing in a more sustainable method.

Naadam Recycled Cashmere Sweater

Since moving to a cold climate I have become a connoisseur of sweaters. I know which fabrics will and will not protect me from the elements. By far my favorite sweaters are the cashmere pieces I have collected over the years. This year I am focusing my attention on the companies that are making their cashmere sweaters in a more environmentally conscious method. I am not a perfect consumer of sustainable goods, but I am trying. For me, it is about finding the ways you can change your shopping habits a little bit at a time so you can integrate more environmentally friendly choices into your life.
