Throughout the week I read a lot of really inspiring and interesting pieces that I want to share with people. The same goes with clothing, home and beauty items that I discover and all I want to do is tell others about them. This is why I decided each Sunday I will share all the great things I have found throughout the week though my new weekly post “The Sunday Connection.” I will try to narrow it down to the items I keep coming back to throughout the week so it is an easy and fun post to read. Enjoy!

I’m an InStyle Editor and I’m Giving Up Shopping for a Year: This article is so well written and articulates beautifully the on-line shopping boom that has occurred this last year. I know I have bought WAY too much clothing over the past year and I am embarrassed to admit that. I realize it was because I needed something to look forward to. This article has really made me rethink my purchases for the next year.
The New Hygge Encourages Going Outdoors Without Compromising Style: I am not sure when is the next time I can get dressed up to go out. At the moment the only time I leave the house is to go out into nature. This article made me realize that “getting ready” to go outside is almost a form of therapy. And I don’t care what people think when they pass me, I will look fabulous.

Arias Brushstroke Cardigan: I love the gold brushstroke on this cardigan by Arias. The gold buttons are a perfect complement to the brushstroke. This cardigan is truly a piece of art.
Michelle Waugh Trench Coat: The color of this trench is gorgeous. A trench is a wonderfully versatile piece of clothing, and this one would be a forever piece in anyones closet.
Rodebjer Tolalos Dress: This dress makes me want spring time right now. The color is so uplifting!
Fools Gold Ring: I just discovered this brand on the website Wolf & Badger which highlights small independent designers. This ring is small, but it is a statement piece.

Shani Darden Intensive Eye Renewal Cream: I very rarely get excited about a new beauty product. I have a very minimalist routine so trying new products doesn’t happen very often. But I trust Shani Darden and so I know I need to give this eye cream a try.

Alice Lane Wood Gallery Book Cradle: This is the perfect way to display your favorite coffee table book. I love the idea of showing off specific pages. I cannot get over the gorgeous walnut wood it is crafted from.
Caravan x The Goop Marble Tray: I have been on the search for a tray for candles and perfume. This white marble tray is so pretty and could be used for so many reasons.
Rejuvenation Italian Velvet Pillow Cover: These are my favorite pillow covers. I purchased the marigold velvet color a year ago and I absolutely love them. They hold up really well to daily use and feel really luxurious. Oh, and they are on sale right now!
